In addition to the traditional wood spiral stair, we also showcase a stair that bends a few rules, the Double Helix! The Double Helix is a spiral stair with imagination! Unlike the traditional spiral stairs, the Double Helix has no centerpost. Instead this stair has two distinct inside/outside sets of helical handrails and stringers. This stair is available in five standard diameters: 5', 6', 6'8, 8'6 and 18'. The double helix spiral stair is crafted from fine red oak or mahogany and applied with a clear finish. Custom orders may include walnut, cherry, or maple and come with a finish all your own.
